Welcome!
Welcome to Geelong Neuropsychology. We acknowledge that we work and practise on the unceded lands of the Wadawurrung, Gulidjan and Gadabanud peoples. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and recognise all Traditional owners as having a deep and ongoing connection to people, land, water, spirit, health and community.
The clinicians at Geelong Neuropsychology are proud to work with all of our diverse community in enhancing health and wellbeing. As registered psychologists, we are committed to delivering culturally safe, respectful, and responsive care. We believe that culturally safe practice begins with humility and self-awareness and strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to share their stories without fear of judgment. We acknowledge the histories, strengths, and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and commit to listening deeply, learning continuously, and adapting our approach to honour each person’s cultural context. We work in alignment with the Psychology Board of Australia’s Professional Practice Standards and Competency 8, recognising the importance of cultural knowledge, community engagement, and ongoing professional development.
We bring a wealth of experience in assessment and counselling support to adults and children who have suffered or who are suffering the effects of altered brain functioning. Services offered include neuropsychological assessment, counselling support, behavioural and/or cognitive interventions (excluding formal behaviour support services), medicolegal assessment and secondary consultation. Our team can see people across the lifespan including for peadiatric assessments.
